Rendezvous Collection

The collection is made up of 10 original paintings, each inspired by my favourite places- the places that my family and I like to spend afternoons meeting up with friends. They’re mostly wild and vast spaces, where I feel most free and alive! 

I love the way that light can effect the landscapes that we think we know so well, giving them a completely different identity- the soft, warm light of dusk or the muted tones of a thick mist. Many of the paintings are inspired by that moment in the evening when the sky turns pink and the whole earth feels like another world. I loved making this collection. I particularly enjoyed the challenge of capturing colour, light and atmosphere.
